ABOUT  PLEDGES

As a participant in the Walk for Life, you can raise donations for CanSupport by asking people to pledge sums of money.  

CanSupport has made special Pledge Forms that can be collected in person from the office on any working day. The people who raise amounts of Rs.50,000 and above will be eligible to participate in a draw. The prize is two economy class return air tickets on Etihad Airways from Delhi to any place in Europe.  

TIPS ON HOW TO RAISE PLEDGES  

Pledges may be of any amount. We share with you some tips that people have used to raise pledges: 

1. Set a personal pledge goal. For example, “I wish to raise Rs.1 lakh in pledges for CanSupport.”
2. Let your sponsors know that donations to CanSupport are tax deductible. To know more click here
3. Create a personal fundraising iGive page on GiveIndia www.giveindia.org and collect pledges online for CanSupport.
4. Tell sponsors what the money raised will be used for at CanSupport- click here.
5. Email your entire contact list and ask them to sponsor you.
6. Don’t forget to ask family and friends who live out of town as well.

Register and raise Rs.50,000/- and above by February 1st 2010 and your name will be placed in a draw for the 1st prize of 2 Etihad Airways tickets to anywhere in Europe.

Register and raise Rs.30,000/- and above by February 1st 2010 to be eligible for 2nd prize.
Register and raise Rs.20,000/- and above by February 1st 2010 to be eligible for 3rd prize.
