On 11-12th March 2024, the TQMRU (Training, Quality Management and Research Unit) conducted the 21st Annual Foundation Course in Palliative Care at Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi.
The workshop was organized in collaboration with Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital and supported by Dr. Sushma Bhatnagar and other esteemed faculty from AIIMS.
180 participants from renowned institutions including Fortis Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, Noida International Institute of Allied Sciences and Metro College of Nursing enrolled for the workshop.
The workshop aimed to provide participants with a basic understanding of palliative care, emphasizing on pain and symptom management to ensure effective patient care.
