On April 15, the Community Outreach team at CanSupport organised a free Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp at Hari Nagar in association with Lions Club. The camp was supported by Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre. About 100 people attended the awareness talk and 54 people got screened for oral, breast and cervix cancer. The camp also provided free blood pressure and sugar tests to those who participated.
The free camp was much appreciated by the residents of Hari Nagar.
The team put up posters and distributed flyers to help more people know about CanSupport’s free of charge palliative care service for cancer patients.
