World Health Summit Regional Meeting 2025

The first World Health Summit Regional Meeting in India is opening on 25 April 2025. The gathering in New Delhi will convene experts and leaders to work together towards building a healthier future for the region by addressing its most pressing challenges and promoting global health progress, focusing on the overall theme, "Scaling Access to Ensure Health Equity". Join us as CanSupport will host a Panel Discussion on the challenges and opportunities for End of Life Care (EOLC)/Palliative Care in India.

The session is scheduled for 26th April, chaired by Dr. Soumya Swaminathan (Chairperson, MS Swaminathan Research Foundation). The speakers comprise of Dr. Bhawna Sirohi (Vedanta Medical Research Foundation), Gayatri Palat (MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Center), Dr. Sushma Bhatnagar (Indian Association of Palliative Care), Dr. Alok Mathur (Directorate General of Health Services), Dr. Prakash Fernandes (National Palliative Care Partnerships at Cipla Foundation), and moderated by Radhika Shapoorjee (CanSupport Managing Committee, Mediation Mantras).
