Under the soft glow of city lights, an evening of generosity and grace unfolded at the Whispering Willows in Zirakpur on Saturday, where supporters gathered for a cause that touches countless lives—palliative care for cancer patients. The annual charity dinner and dance, hosted by CanSupport, was a heartfelt testament to the power of community and compassion.

“While promoting awareness of the rise in incidence of cancer in Punjab and Haryana, CanSupport aims to raise funds for palliative care for underprivileged cancer patients through this event. Women play a major role as caregivers—more power and strength to them especially on Women’s Day!” said Mohini Daljeet Singh, managing committee member of CanSupport.
Funds raised from the charity dinner will go towards CanSupport’s efforts to expand its palliative care services and offer support to families and caregivers.
