On 20th September 2025, families of our beneficiaries from the East Sector, Delhi, gathered at the Centenary Methodist Church, Lodhi Road, to cherish the memory of loved ones who are no longer with us and to keep their spirit alive through shared stories.
The program commenced with soft instrumental music that created a contemplative mood, followed by a warm welcome extended by Ms. Babita, Counsellor – Field Supportive Team. Soon after, all present observed a moment of silence as a collective tribute to those who had passed away.
Offering words of appreciation, Ms. Savita Luka, Director of Palliative Care Nursing, thanked the families for their presence and acknowledged the home care teams whose compassion and perseverance bring comfort to patients and their families.
A specially prepared tribute film was then shown, after which caregivers and family members came forward to share their heartfelt experiences, speaking of the solace and reassurance they received from the CanSupport team during their loved ones’ final journey.
As the gathering drew to an end, attendees lit diyas at the Shradhanjali corner, wrote personal notes for the Remembrance Day Tree, and released balloons carrying messages of love and remembrance. The event concluded with refreshments, fostering warmth and connection among families and staff alike.
We remain deeply thankful for this opportunity to join families and caregivers in a spirit of shared remembrance and gratitude.
