Loved ones of our beneficiaries from the East Sector, Delhi, came together at Centenary Methodist Church, Lodhi Road, to honor the memories of those who have passed and to share stories that continue to keep them alive in spirit.
The gathering opened with gentle instrumental music, setting a reflective tone, followed by a heartfelt welcome from the emcee, Mr. Ashish, as guests settled in. A minute of silence was then observed as a mark of respect for the departed souls.
Ms. Savita Luka, Director of Palliative Care Nursing, extended her heartfelt thanks to all the attendees, as well as to the dedicated homecare teams, for their tireless efforts and compassion in delivering palliative care.
A touching tribute video was screened, after which caregivers and family members spoke movingly about their experiences and the comfort provided by the CanSupport team during their loved ones’ final days.
The event drew to a close with the lighting of diyas at the Shradhanjali corner, the writing of personal notes on the Remembrance Day tree, and the symbolic release of balloons carrying handwritten messages. To foster a sense of warmth and connection, refreshments were served to all attendees and staff.
We remain truly grateful for the chance to come together with families and caregivers in a spirit of remembrance and gratitude.
