Family and friends of our beneficiaries from the West Sector, Delhi, gathered at the National Spiritual Assembly, Baha’i House, to pay heartfelt tributes to their departed loved ones and share cherished memories.
The ceremony commenced with soft instrumental music and a welcome address by the emcee, Mr. Ashish, as attendees assembled. This was followed by a minute of silence observed in solemn remembrance of the departed souls.
Ms. Savita Luka, Director of Palliative Care Nursing, then expressed her gratitude to all the invitees, as well as the dedicated homecare teams, for their unwavering support and commitment to palliative care.
A commemorative video was screened in honor of the deceased, after which caregivers and family members shared personal reflections and experiences of the care and compassion provided by the CanSupport team during their loved ones’ final moments.
The event concluded with the lighting of diyas at the Shradhanjali corner, writing heartfelt notes on the Remembrance Day tree, and releasing balloons bearing handwritten messages. Refreshments were also served to all attendees and staff as they gathered in a spirit of remembrance and community.We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to host and honor the caregivers and family members of our patients.
