Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is an easy way for the employees of a company to support an ongoing project. By donating a small amount each month from their monthly pay cheques, they can contribute to the cause in a way that does not pinch the pocket and helps save tax too.
For instance, if 100 employees pledge Rs 200 per month, CanSupport would receive Rs 2.4 lakh a year, enough to pay the annual salary of one nurse. People who enlist in our Payroll Giving program will receive a payment summary letter at the end of the financial year along with a tax exemption certificate from CanSupport.
Matching Grant
Companies can increase the value of their employee’s gift by matching their donation. Many companies find this a great way to increase staff morale and enable team building by rewarding staff for their generosity.

Employee Engagement
CanSupport has been organizing Employee Engagement activities with Corporates since 2018.
The employees have striven to give back to the society through both online and in-person activities.
There is evidence to show that companies that help their employees volunteer for social causes develop an edge over others.
It helps employees in their careers, develops leadership skills, boosts enthusiasm and confidence. It also instils a deep sense of well-being and healing.
Our Employee Engagement Program designs unique activities which suit employees’ skills and interests for a meaningful experience with cancer patients.

Under Cause Related Marketing (CRM) a company can donate proceeds or a fixed percentage from the sale of one or more of its products, including new brands launched, to CanSupport. This also includes retail tie-ups where customers the cause via the company’s outlets

Refer a Patient
When should you refer a patient?
The following broad referral criteria have been developed to help you assess whether a palliative care referral would be beneficial to you and your patient. One or more of the following may indicate the need for referral to the palliative care team:
- Metastatic or locally-advanced cancer progressing despite systemic treatments
- Metastatic disease with uncontrolled pain
- Declining ability to complete activities of daily living
- Failure of first – or second-line chemotherapy
- Multi-organ failure
- Multiple hospitalizations
- Difficult to control physical or emotional symptoms related to serious medical illness
- Patient, family or physician uncertainty regarding goals of care
- Patient or family requests for futile care
- Patient, family or any other physician request for information on palliative care
- Family caregiver request for guidance to manage patient’s care at home
- Patient or family psychological or spiritual distress
- Patient wanting to stop all treatment and needing continuing care at home
