At a time when people are navigating their lives through pain, anxiety and conflict and the grief of losing their loved ones to Covid-19, CanSupport held online meditation and interactive sessions with Mr Kabir Saxena from Tushita Delhi, titled “Calm, Clarity, Kindness – Learn how to navigate painful circumstances with wisdom and compassion”, on May 1 and 7, 2021.
In his sessions Kabir gave the Buddhist perspective on calm, caring and kindness and shared that they already exist in our minds. And we could tap them by slowing down and meditating, as opposed to looking for solutions outside. He also talked about developing gratitude for expanding our kindness and to arrive at a better understanding and acceptance of death, which is the cause of all our suffering and fear.
