The target population for cancer prevention and screening interventions is 'healthy' people who have no symptoms. CanSupport organized an awareness drive on March 20th, 2018 for devotees who gathered at the transit camp before leaving for annual Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. People from as far as Nepal, Kashmir, Jharkhand, Bengal and other Indian states were present in large numbers at the Buraari camp organized by Delhi Urs Committee. The devotees were told about cancer and the importance of right information while dealing with cancer. They were also given the key to cancer related information, the cancer Helpline no. 011- 2671 1212 which is operational from Monday to Friday, 09:30 am to 05:30 pm. CanSupport flyers were distributed among devotees to be put at local hospitals and for sharing it with cancer patients.
