CanSupport organized a session for the Students and Staff of VLCC, Pritampura on 22 July 2019. The session was aimed to raise awareness about the major causes of cancer such as smoking, alcohol intake, tobacco consumption, lack of exercise, and a sedentary lifestyle, etc.

CanSupport’s Dr. Apala took the session on cancer awareness, she emphasized that according to research, breast and ovarian cancer are on the rise among women, while mouth, lung and blood cancer continue to increase for men.

Around 30 people from the VLCC institute attended the session. We are grateful to Gargi Nanda, CanSupport Volunteer for supporting us in organizing the session.
