Like every year, on the 10th of October, people around the world who have been impacted by a life-limiting illness, either personally or by supporting a loved one, will be making their voices heard by word and by song. Those who have been standing in solidarity with them, local leaders, volunteers, advocates, clinicians, celebrities, will also be volunteering their time to amplify this year’s theme: Palliative Care: It's "My Care, My Comfort."

This time, CanSupport has teamed up with NewsX, a national TV channel, to reach out to a wider audience. It will be an opportunity for us to share our vision of a caring society, to raise awareness and understanding of the needs of people living with cancer and their families, to appeal to policy makers to make palliative care part of mainstream medicine, as well as raise funds for our free of charge services for the less privileged and underserved.
