It is felt that knowledge of Palliative Care is very limited in Tier 2 and 3 Cities. To address this gap CanSupport Knowledge and Training Department organised one day CNE Palliative Care workshop in Prem Institute of Medical Sciences Nursing College, Panipat, Haryana on 23 April, 2019. The workshop aimed at spreading awareness about Palliative Care and its importance in cancer care, to equip nursing students and faculty with requisite knowledge and skills in the principles and practices in nursing in Palliative Care.

Dr. Pankaj Mutneja, Chairman of the College, inaugurated the workshop with Lighting the Lamp ceremony. The Workshop was attended by 125 participants which included students and faculty from 6 colleges from Haryana.
