CanSupport’s community networking team organized a door to door cancer and palliative care awareness drive in Neb Sarai, Delhi on 17 May, 2019. With the help of our community networking officer, around 80 families were reached and informed about key aspects of cancer and palliative care.

An awareness camp was also organized on the same day. Savita Luka, Head Chief Nurse, conducted the session. The session was aimed to raise awareness among general public about the major causes of cancer like smoking, alcohol intake, tobacco consumption, lack of exercise and a sedentary lifestyle, etc. that can lead to serious problems. Around 80 participants attended the camp. We are grateful to Reena Banerjee, Founder Secretary & Chief Functionary and Nirmala, Project Coordinator, Nav Srishti, NGO for helping and supporting us in organizing the camp.
