CanSupport’s community networking team organized a door to door Cancer and Palliative Care Awareness Drive in Nangloi, Delhi on 13 June, 2019. With the help of our community networking officer, around 225 people were reached and informed about key aspects of cancer and palliative care.

A cancer awareness camp was also organized on the same day. Savita Luka, Deputy Head, Training and Education took a session to discuss the major causes of cancer like smoking, alcohol intake, tobacco consumption, lack of exercise, etc. She emphasized the importance of regular checkup for early detection of cancer and tips to have a preventive lifestyle. Around 85 participants attended the camp.
