Introductory Palliative Care workshop was organized at Dharamshila Narayana Super speciality Hospital on 9 July, 2019.

Dr. Suversha Khanna, President, Dharamshila Cancer Foundation and Research Centre inaugurated and welcomed the CanSupport Team. In her welcome note she shared her vision to start a palliative care unit at the Hospital and how Cansupport will be helping them in realising this vision.

There were around 32 Nurses, 7 Doctors and a physiotherapist who attended the workshop. The workshop included the following topic such as introduction in Palliative Care, Nursing issue in Palliative Care and Psychological issues which were covered by Dr. Ravinder Mohan, Head of Training and Education; Savita Luka, Deputy Head Training and Education and Bina Akhtar, Chief Counsellor Trainer.

Each session was concluded with a Q&A round which made the workshop very informative and engaging.
