On April 5, Dr Ishita Gandhi, Director Palliative Medicine, CanSupport and Savita Luka. Head Palliative Care Field Services, CanSupport attended the National Roundtable Conference on Oncology, hosted by ECHO India in collaboration with the NCD division, Dte GHS, MoHFW.

The gathering sought to bring together key stakeholders and opinion leaders from the field of Oncology and Cancer care through three panel discussions. The panel talks had representatives from the medical world, oncologists and specialists from palliative medicine to assess the most critical local and regional necessities of the workforce development in cancer care delivery and investigate approaches to upgrade training over the whole range of cancer care - from analysis to treatment, patient direction and backing, endurance, and palliative care.

The primary objective of this roundtable summit was to identify gaps, challenges, and key priority areas in the field of cancer care.
