CanSupport organized its 14th Walk for Life -Stride against Cancer on Sunday, 7 February 2021. Since 2008, the Walk is organised to commemorate World Cancer Day and to draw public attention to the rising incidence of cancer, show solidarity with cancer patients, honor those who lost to cancer and raise funds for CanSupport’s much needed free of charge home based Palliative care services.
Turn the Tide Against Cancer
The fight against cancer is beginning to show results in a few countries. But it is not yet time to celebrate. According to the American Cancer Society, the death rate from cancer in the US for the year 2017-18 dropped by 2.4%.
