Mexico is celebrating its 208th National Day this September, and for this occasion the Embassy of Mexico in India is again co-organizing the Dwarka Half-Marathon and Charity Run 2018, in association with Coach Ravinder.
During the 5th edition of Dwarka Half-Marathon and Charity Run in 2017, Ambassador Melba Pria ran in the 21.1K category to raise funds for CanSupport Foundation, the NGO that is dedicatedly working towards a cause for which she is personally committed.
The Embassy of Mexico in India believes in celebrating with a cause – and this year again they are partnering with CanSupport as the Charity Partner for the 6th edition of the Dwarka Half Marathon and Charity Run, to strengthen their commitment towards wholistic fitness and commemorate the resilience of cancer patients in India.
A dedicated runner H.E. Ms. Melba Pría, Ambassador of Mexico to India is a determined champion of the cause of cancer awareness, and providing support for palliative care, making a huge difference in the lives of cancer patients, as well as caregivers and family members, coping with the intense and multiple responsibilities of care giving.
How It All Started
Ambassador Melba Pria’s first involvement with CanSupport was through her association with Founder, Harmala Gupta, who is a cancer survivor herself as well as a social activist who has pioneered cancer support services in India.
